From the heart of nature

coffee is one of the most popular products in the world, and the stages of planting, growing and harvesting are interesting and important.

Coffee is a product that is consumed in millions of tons every year, and its export and production are always highly specialized and extensive.

From the beginning of the discovery of the coffee fruit by Kaldi, a Yemeni man (it should be noted that many believe that Kaldi was a shepherd from Ethiopia) until today, there have been significant changes in the coffee industry. For example, at first, people started consuming red fruit in food or as raw fruit, but later, with the passage of time, this fruit has become a popular drink all over the world

Now we are facing the initial stages to learn about planting, growing and harvesting coffee fruit.

Planting coffee seeds:

coffee seeds should be planted in humid weather and moist condition to form strong roots. It usually takes 3 to 4 years for a coffee tree to grow fruits

Growing coffee :

At this stage, coffee plants need special care, including regular watering, pest and disease control, as well as continuous pruning to improve plant growth.

Coffee harvesting:

Coffee fruits, which are also called coffee cherries, are ready to harvest when they turn bright red. Harvesting is usually done once a year, but in some areas like Colombia, twice a year is also possible.

Coffee processing:

After harvesting, the red fruits must be processed to separate the coffee beans from the fruit, which is called processing. These processes include drying, peeling and waste removal.

Roasting:

Finally, the coffee beans are roasted to get their special flavor and aroma. This stage has a great impact on the final quality of our coffee.
